American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring MA licensure and at least 2 years of ER experience.

- Emergency Department setting with a combined adult/pediatric general ER
- Level II Trauma Center
- Target patient ratio of 1:2
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts (12:00pm-12:30am)
- No on-call requirements
- No floating requirements
- Every other weekend required
- Every 3rd holiday required
- Uses Omnicell medication management system and Meditech Expanse charting system

Requirements\n

- Active MA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- ENPC, MOAB, NRP, TNCC certifications preferred
- Meditech charting experience preferred
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Experience with pediatric and adult emergency care preferred
- Skills in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring preferred
- Experience managing trauma, respiratory, and psychiatric emergencies preferred
- Critical Access Hospital experience preferred

Additional Information\n
- \n
- Provide emergency care across a wide range of adult and pediatric conditions including trauma, respiratory, psychiatric, and orthopedic cases
- Perform triage, isolation precautions, and PPE protocols as needed
- Administer emergency medications and monitor procedural sedation
- Support cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, and dysrhythmia management
- First-time travelers with strong ER experience are welcome to apply
- Local candidates within 30 miles accepted at the same rate
- Minimize requests for time off, especially during the first two weeks of the assignment
- Expect to work some holidays during the assignment
