Join our IT team as a full-time, Senior Systems Analyst!

Location: Operations Center – Gilford, NH (This is an ON-SITE position)

Position Overview:

As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for the administration, development, and support of the various systems and software applications used by the bank. The Analyst team will work with all departments to understand their goals and needs, think innovatively, research current technology offerings, design and develop new systems, policies, and procedures, and provide ongoing support for these systems. In addition, the team is responsible for the continuous lifecycle management of these bank systems to promote strong cyber security, proper functionality, and job efficiency for all employees and customers of BNH.

Responsibilities:

  1. Be the owner and support lead for a subset of the bank’s systems and applications. Serve as the primary advocate for these systems by actively understanding their uses, functionality, and overall operation within the organization.
  2. Continuously interact with the bank staff that use these systems to understand how and why they are needed and used. Develop policies, procedures, and documentation to improve the use and support of these systems.
  3. Actively analyze and research options to innovate and improve bank productivity, efficiency, and ultimately serve the bank’s customers.
  4. Ensure that all systems have another team member that understands the operation and support of your designated primary applications/systems and can take over for you when you are not available for planned or unplanned reasons.
  5. Develop and execute testing to support new or updated systems.
  6. Perform upgrades, and notify staff of enhancements
  7. Participate and/or lead the management of various projects.
  8. Develop and/or lead the training of systems.
  9. Train the ITSD staff to best provide level one support for your systems.
  10. Serve as level two support on the ITSD for your primary applications, and of other applications supported by the team.
  11. Develop and produce reports for various departments of the bank, as well as for executive management and board members.
  12. Participate in designated committees throughout the bank in support of other departments, staff, and systems.
  13. Build strong relationships across all departments to better understand and advocate technology needs and maximize the bank’s investment in technology.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Educations & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience demonstrating a sound grasp of and practical experience with banking information technology and data workflows along with financial and security controls.
  • Communication skills demonstrating an ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels in a clear, concise, and compelling manner (both orally and in writing) including the capacity to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Skills in common courtesy, mathematics, organization, personal computers, planning, problem resolution, project tracking and word processing.
  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably with exposure to computing or related analytical disciplines or equivalent working experience.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record, as well as a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive while performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
