Make a positive difference in students’ lives by supporting young learners in a well-structured ABA program designed for those with Autism. This full-time contract position, beginning ASAP and running through June 2027, offers the opportunity to work with a small caseload of about 11 students in kindergarten through 2nd grade, supported by three paraprofessionals. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM, providing steady, predictable work hours and a collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Demonstrated experience working with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and implementation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals
  • Strong communication skills and passion for supporting students with Autism

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans using ABA methodologies
  • Oversee academic and behavioral progress, adapting methods as needed
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with IEP goals and state requirements
  • Work with paraprofessionals, supporting their roles in the classroom and providing ongoing direction
  • Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
