Job Description
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the church building, its property, and the surrounding grounds. Must:
- have general working knowledge and demonstrated experience with maintenance and custodial tasks
- have knowledge of OSHA safety requirements including the handling and storage of hazardous materials
- be proactive in identifying and addressing maintenance issues,
- perform simple fixes and know when to elevate repair issues to the next level of management.
- ability to bend and to lift at least 50 pounds, carry items up and down stairs, and climb ladders.
- be able to work independently, have good organizational skills and communication skills.
28 hours/week, M-F, with variable hours for holidays such as Christmas and Easter, and extra opportunities for working weddings and funerals.
