Job DescriptionMedical Assistant – Travel Assignment
URGENT BACKFILL NEEDED
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for an outpatient physician office.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and document vital signs.
- Administer injections and immunizations.
- Room patients and review medical histories.
- Prepare patients for examinations and minor procedures.
- Perform EKGs.
- Utilize medical terminology appropriately.
- Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Adjust to changing schedules to minimize patient wait times.
- May be required to travel between clinic locations as needed.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of current Medical Assistant experience required.
- Previous travel experience highly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS required.
- Experience with Meditech is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient volumes and schedules.
