Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in a student’s life by providing direct nursing care in a supportive educational environment. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work 1:1 with a high school male student throughout his school day and during transportation to and from school. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring his health and well-being, working closely with school staff and families. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 2027, giving you the chance to build a long-lasting and rewarding relationship.

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license (New Hampshire or compact state)
Experience in school nursing or pediatric settings, especially working 1:1 with students
Excellent assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
Ability to partner with educators, students, and families in a collaborative manner
Reliability and commitment to a consistent weekday schedule
Compassionate approach and ability to maintain confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide individualized nursing care and monitoring during the school day and transport
Respond promptly and effectively to any medical or health needs
Implement health care plans and communicate important changes to parents and team members
Maintain clear, timely records of care and interventions
Serve as an advocate for student health, ensuring accommodations and safety needs are consistently met

Position Highlights:

Contract runs ASAP through June 2027
Monday through Friday, approximately 35–37.5 hours per week

High school caseload in a structured, stable setting
