Job Title: Travel Patient Care Technician – Med/Surg
Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts
Rate: Up to $1,150 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1
Shift: Mid 2:45p–11:45p, 5x8-hour shifts | Every other weekend
Contract: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours/week
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Minimum 2 years of Patient Care Technician experience</li>
<li>Acute care experience required</li>
<li>Must be comfortable working with adult and geriatric patients</li>
<li>Must be willing to float as needed</li>
<li>Must be able to work every other weekend</li>
<li>Local and travel candidates accepted</li>
<li>First-time travelers are welcome</li>
</ul>
Certifications: BLS required
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living</li>
<li>Obtain and document vital signs, intake and output, and other patient information</li>
<li>Assist with ambulation, transfers, repositioning, bathing, hygiene, feeding, and toileting</li>
<li>Perform finger sticks and assist with routine catheter care</li>
<li>Obtain and transport specimens as needed</li>
<li>Perform and document 12-lead EKGs</li>
<li>Assist with patient transport</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment</li>
<li>Follow infection control, isolation, and PPE procedures</li>
<li>Assist the nursing team with patient care needs</li>
</ul>
