What we’re seeking:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher certification
- Demonstrated experience working with middle school students preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to effectively manage and adapt classroom strategies to diverse learning needs
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with students, families, and school staff
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals, fostering student growth and achievement
- Develop engaging lesson plans that accommodate varied abilities and learning styles
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and collaborate on IEP meetings
- Consult with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to promote an inclusive classroom environment
