Make a real impact in a student's life by providing dedicated care as an RN for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract role focuses on supporting a high school-aged male student in a 1:1 setting, ensuring he receives expert nursing care throughout his educational day and during transport to and from school.
Details:
- School year coverage: ASAP through June 2027
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 35-37.5 hours per week
- Engage and collaborate with educational staff and families
- Located near Concord, NH
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license in New Hampshire
- Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or direct 1:1 student care preferred
- Strong advocacy skills to effectively support student needs in an academic environment
- Ability to assess, monitor, and respond to emerging health needs throughout the school day and during transport
- Clear communication with school teams and families
- Professionalism, compassion, and the ability to build rapport with students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, student-specific nursing care during both instructional time and transportation
- Administer daily medications and coordinate with medical professionals as needed
- Maintain comprehensive health records and update relevant documentation
- Monitor and address the student’s health needs proactively
- Participate in team meetings and care planning discussions
- Act as a reliable and caring resource for the student’s well-being at school
