Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 annually

Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support nursing leadership and oversee the delivery of quality resident care in a long-term care setting. This position works closely with nursing leadership and staff to ensure clinical standards, regulatory compliance, resident safety, and effective daily nursing operations.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active New Hampshire RN license or compact license.
• Recent clinical nursing experience.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• IV certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support nursing operations and oversee the delivery of resident care.
• Supervise and coordinate Licensed Nurses, LNAs, and LMNAs.
• Ensure staff follow established policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely clinical interventions.
• Oversee medication administration, treatments, and clinical documentation.
• Participate in resident assessments and care plan development.
• Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary departments.
• Assist with staffing coordination, shift assignments, and nursing coverage.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and nursing practice standards.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, independence, and quality of care.
