Ascent Healthcare is growing, and we’re looking for a warm, capable, organized person to join our small team in a combined clinical + administrative role.
\n
\n
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys patient care but also likes keeping things organized and making a medical office run smoothly. You’ll spend part of your time at the front desk helping patients and managing day-to-day office needs, and part of your time supporting our providers clinically.
\n
\n
What you’ll do:
\n
\n
* Welcome and check in patients
\n
* Answer phones and assist with scheduling
\n
* Help manage messages, forms, records, and other administrative tasks
\n
* Collect payments and assist with basic front-office workflows
\n
* Room patients and obtain vitals
\n
* Perform blood draws and process specimens
\n
* Prepare exam rooms and supplies
\n
* Assist with medication and supply inventory
\n
* Support providers with clinical procedures and patient care as appropriate
\n
* Help keep the office organized, stocked, and running efficiently
\n
* Pitch in wherever needed as part of a small, collaborative team
\n
\n

\n
* Highly organized and dependable
\n
* Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
\n
* Able to move easily between administrative and clinical responsibilities
\n
* Detail-oriented without losing sight of the person in front of you
\n
* Comfortable with computers and learning new systems
\n
* Someone who notices what needs to be done and does it
\n
\n
Clinical experience is strongly preferred. Experience with phlebotomy and obtaining vital signs is especially important. Medical assistant, LNA/CNA, EMT, phlebotomy, or other relevant healthcare experience would all translate well to this position.
