Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Specialist for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference in a school setting, where you’ll work full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM) throughout the academic year. Two professionals will be placed with middle school students (grades 7/8), while a third opportunity serves intermediate students (grades 5/6), providing direct behavior intervention and skill building.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience as an ABA Technician, Behavior Specialist, or ABA Therapist in schools strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis concepts and practices
- RBT credential preferred for the intermediate school role; BCBA supervision provided if desired
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and families
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one ABA interventions and behavior support for students within dedicated classroom environments
- Collect and document data on student progress and behavioral goals
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans with guidance from BCBAs or program leaders
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions
- Collaborate daily with school professionals to promote student success
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to support academic and social-emotional growth
