Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location: Concord, MA
Rate: Up to $3700.00 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1
Shifts Available:
- 4x12-Hour Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract: 13-Week Contract | Local & Travel Accepted
Hours: 48 per week
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Previous travel experience required
- Active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license
- Must be available to work every other weekend
Certifications:
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NRP Certification
- Fetal Monitoring Certification
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to labor and delivery patients throughout the childbirth process
- Care for patients in labor, triage, and postpartum settings as needed
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using appropriate assessments and fetal monitoring
- Assist with deliveries and operating room procedures
- Provide patient and family education and support
- Administer medications and treatments safely
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Float to postpartum when needed to support patient care
- Provide charge nurse responsibilities with support from the Clinical Resource Nurse
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow patient safety protocols
- Support care delivery within an 8-bed unit including 6 triage beds and 2 operating rooms
