Job Title: General Production Worker
Responsibilities
- Work in a team of three to operate coating or slitting machines.
- Assist and shadow operators during the initial contract period.
- Utilize computerized controls for machine operation.
- Apply mechanical skills to troubleshoot and make small adjustments during production.
- Handle heavy rolls of material with forklift assistance, with training provided if necessary.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of recent machine operating experience, ideally 2 years.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot.
- Computer literacy.
- Experience with forklifts, coating machines, slitter machines, overhead cranes, and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Machine troubleshooting capabilities are advantageous.
- Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in a coating or slitting company is a plus.

Work Environment
Work on a rotating schedule,(NO WEEKENDS!) alternating every other week between days (7 AM - 7 PM) and nights (7 PM - 7 AM), with shifts lasting 3 or 4 days.
Enjoy paid breaks, including two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch during the 12-hour shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
