We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and experienced Medical Assistant to provide essential support to our providers and patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within dermatology, and will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role is essential in supporting our Mohs surgeons during surge periods while ensuring patients receive the highest level of care. The Medical Assistant is responsible for a variety of patient care, technical, and clinical duties.




Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient intake including reviewing and documenting medical history, current medications and waivers.
  • Prepare examination rooms by ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient visits. This will include inventory of supplies.
  • Rooming patients and preparing patients for examination/procedure as appropriate.
  • Assist providers with procedures as directed
  • Ensure safe handling and disposition of instruments and equipment.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Certified as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified as a Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • Previous experience in a clinic setting is preferred, particularly dermatology.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology
  • Experience scribing or documenting visit in real time
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and maintain professionalism at all times

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday-Friday
  • Daytime hours aligned with practice operations
  • No weekends


Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience, RN Candidates $25.00 to $35.00. MA Candite's $20.00 to $30.00
