We are seeking a Parts Cleaner to support production operations within a precision manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for cleaning manufactured parts using specialized wash baths and rinse processes. Employees will work independently in a dedicated cleaning area, following detailed job travelers to ensure each product receives the correct cleaning procedure before moving to the next stage of production.

Responsibilities

  • Read and follow job travelers and cleaning instructions.
  • Load and unload parts into cleaning baths.
  • Complete wash and rinse cycles according to specifications.
  • Handle parts carefully to avoid damage or contamination.
  • Verify batch information and job documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety guidelines when working with cleaning solutions.
  • Move completed parts to the next manufacturing process.

  • Manufacturing or production experience.
  • Ability to handle repetitive work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to read and understand English work instructions.
  • Ability to stand for most of the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs occasionally.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • 6+ months of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience working with quality-controlled processes.
  • Experience handling delicate parts or components.
  • Previous production, assembly, or cleaning experience.
  • Experience following standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Work Environment

The role is situated in a dedicated parts cleaning area with multiple wash baths of varying sizes. Employees will use alcohol-based cleaning solutions and non-foaming detergents, with PPE provided and required. The position involves standing for most of the shift and performing repetitive but detail-oriented work in a clean, organized manufacturing facility. Work is independent with periodic interaction with production teams, and the environment has moderate manufacturing noise levels.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Natick, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
