Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor &amp; Delivery
Location: Hyannis, MA&nbsp; Contract: 13 Weeks Pay Rate: $3,000–$3,200/week Hours: 36 Hours/Week Shift: Night | 3×12 Hours Time: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM Duration: 13 Weeks | High possibility of extension or permanent placement
Requirements
<ul>
<li>
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
</li>
<li>
Active Massachusetts RN License
</li>
<li>
BLS, ACLS &amp; NRP certifications required
</li>
<li>
Recent OB/Labor &amp; Delivery experience within the past 2 years required
</li>
<li>
BSN preferred
</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>
Provide nursing care to Labor &amp; Delivery patients.
</li>
<li>
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
</li>
<li>
Monitor patient responses to medications and treatments.
</li>
<li>
Maintain accurate patient records and assessments.
</li>
<li>
Develop individualized care plans and communicate patient information to the healthcare team.
</li>
<li>
Provide patient and family education and support.
</li>
<li>
Assume charge nurse responsibilities when required.
</li>
<li>
Follow safety and infection-control procedures.
</li>
<li>
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
</li>
<li>
Maintain professional knowledge and skills.
</li>
