Job Requirements\n

  • Active Registered Nurse license
  • \n

  • Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
  • \n

  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • \n

  • Recent EPIC experience within the last 2 years required
  • \n

  • AHA BLS required
  • \n

  • AHA ACLS required
  • \n

  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
  • \n

  • Progressive care experience preferred
  • \n

  • Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to integrate quickly into a team environment
  • \n

  • Reliable transportation strongly recommended
  • \n

Responsibilities\n

    \n
  • Provide safe, patient-centered care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
  • \n

  • Care for a varied patient population including orthopedic, urology, ENT, gynecology, general surgery, and progressive care patients
  • \n

  • Monitor telemetry patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition
  • \n

  • Support rapid response, code, fall response, and IV team needs as part of a small, collaborative nursing unit
  • \n

  • Deliver supportive care while coordinating escalation or transfer for higher-acuity patients when needed
  • \n

  • Use sound clinical judgment to prioritize care and collaborate with hospitalists, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
  • \n

  • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow established unit protocols
  • \n

  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, learning, and exceptional patient care
  • \n
