Make a difference every day by supporting young learners in a rewarding, full-time contract role as a 1:1 paraprofessional working with preschool students. This position provides 32.5 hours per week of meaningful engagement, with an immediate start through June 24, 2027. You'll build valuable relationships as you assist a dedicated student, working within a supportive environment focused on growth and collaboration.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of a high school diploma required
- School-based experience is essential
- Confidence and professionalism in a school district setting
- Ability to effectively service a preschool 1:1 caseload
- Reliable transportation required for secure commute
- BT candidates are strongly encouraged to apply (district does not provide RBT supervision)
- Willingness to complete district fingerprinting/background checks
- Strong communication skills and a positive, patient attitude
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted 1:1 support to a preschool student, supporting their academic and behavioral development
- Collaborate with teachers and team members to implement student-specific educational strategies
- Assist with daily classroom routines, ensuring a safe, nurturing learning space
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and provide regular updates to staff
- Demonstrate flexibility and dedication while adapting to the student’s evolving needs
