Summary: The General Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of
business operations, including but not limited to sales, raw material purchasing, production planning,
plant floor operations, and shipping/receiving.
Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Establish manufacturing standards to optimize production, control expenses, reduce waste,
ensure quality and safety measures are in place, and enable on-time deliveries
2. Analyze and forecast raw material needs and coordinate with production planning.
3. Establish inventory controls and reviews cycle counts to ensure accurate reporting.
4. Oversee the purchase of raw materials from vendors.
5. Direct the manufacturing departments, including the development and execution of a plan that
addresses the various shop equipment, production capabilities and facility operations.
6. Review production and operating reports, direct the resolution of operational, manufacturing,
and maintenance problems to minimize costs and prevent operational delays.
7. Work with customers across various departments to create specifications for new and/or
modified pallet, skid, and crate SKU’s.
8. Work with management to improve associate engagement and hold manufacturing employees
accountable for their work.
9. Work with management to assist with customer quotes to ensure the company is fairly
compensated for the work we do.
10. Work with management to assist in making annual budgets, sales goals, and profitability targets.
Experience/Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, not mandatory
• Manufacturing experience preferred, not mandatory
• Operations experience

- Compensation is around $130,000/year which is a combination of salary and profit sharing.
- A gas card, paid cell phone, and paying for half health insurance is another benefit

- Working hours of 6am-4:30pm Monday – Thursday and 6am-11am Friday
- 2 weeks paid vacation for the first 2 years, 3 weeks after that
