This position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact on the mental health journey of our clients across Springfield, Massachusetts. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in mental health counseling to develop tailored treatment plans and implement effective therapeutic interventions.

As a remote mental health therapist, you will thrive in a supportive and dynamic virtual work environment. Our therapists enjoy a flexible schedule, with core hours from 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing some adaptability based on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to create customized treatment plans that address each client’s unique needs.

  • Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client growth and recovery.

  • Maintain precise and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, through regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance care quality.

  • Provide education and support to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and community resources.

  • Stay abreast of advancements in mental health therapies and research, integrating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapists at Forward Steps Psychotherapy work with a broad range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. Our clients often present with various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. This diversity allows our therapists to apply a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to unique individual circumstances.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • An active and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Massachusetts as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

  • Strong understanding of solution-focused therapy approaches, enabling personalized care delivery based on client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
