Support young learners and help shape the future as a dedicated paraprofessional in a vibrant educational setting near Springfield, VT. There are immediate full-time openings to assist individual students and small groups for the 2026-2027 school year, providing meaningful opportunities to make a real difference daily.
Three positions are available:
- 1:1 support for a first-grade student
- 1:1 support for a seventh-grade learner
- Small group support at the high school level
Start as soon as possible and immerse yourself in a collaborative environment that values the important role paraprofessionals play in student growth and achievement.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility, patience, and dedication to supporting students with diverse needs
- Ability to follow teacher and team direction in both individual and group educational settings
- High school diploma or equivalent
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored academic and behavioral assistance to assigned students
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom and school environment
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and fellow paraprofessionals
- Assist with classroom management, modifications, and accommodations
- Support students during classroom activities, transitions, and individualized instruction
