Key Responsibilities\n
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Long Beach Counseling Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the therapeutic journey of your clients. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Conducting regular sessions to assess client progress, discussing therapeutic goals, and planning for transition or discharge when necessary.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Documenting client progress and maintaining up-to-date records in accordance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
- Performing comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate the mental health status and needs of new clients.
- Facilitating individual therapeutic sessions that effectively address the emotional and psychological needs of clients, both virtually and in-person.
- Engaging in regular supervision sessions to enhance clinical practice and explore professional development opportunities.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic care, coordinating treatment efforts with medical professionals as needed.
