Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a school-based speech-language pathologist for a contract assignment starting as soon as possible and continuing through February to cover a maternity leave. This position is located near Westfield, MA, and is ideal for those passionate about making a positive impact through speech therapy in an educational setting.
Applicants with a background in one or more of the following are encouraged to apply: SLP, SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, school-based SLP, and teletherapy SLP experience. The schedule will likely be full-time, and the assignment can be fulfilled onsite or virtually. More specific details about caseload and expectations will be provided as they are gathered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CFY and CCC considered)
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Comfort with both onsite and remote work models
What You'll Do:
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and individualized therapy sessions
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student success
- Maintain thorough records of student progress and communicate results
- Provide support in both in-person and virtual environments, depending on assignment
