CT/X-Ray Technologist
\n
We are seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist with a primary focus on computed tomography (CT) procedures, while also having experience in X-ray imaging. The ideal candidate will demonstrate independent judgment and critical thinking in performing a variety of technical procedures, facilitating accurate diagnoses, and ensuring optimal patient care.

- Perform a wide range of technical procedures related to CT and X-ray imaging.
- Exemplify initiative by applying appropriate skills for diagnosis facilitation.
- Assume independent responsibilities assigned by supervisory staff as per operational needs.
- Provide supervision or instruction to department personnel as required.
- Maintain excellent communication skills across various mediums, including written and verbal formats.
- Practice infection control measures in compliance with established standards and protocols.
- Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Operate PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems proficiently.
- Demonstrate competencies in operating and troubleshooting CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications.
- Complete annual mandatory education focused on blood-borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.
- Maintain assigned department competencies as required.
- Conduct primary diagnostic radiology and CT scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.

Qualifications\n
- \n
- A minimum of 2 years of current experience in CT and X-ray imaging.
- Experience in travel assignments is preferred.
- Prior experience with current agency practices for at least 6 months is required.
- Proficiency in Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform additional duties as needed during low census periods, within the scope of practice.
- Possession of a valid Massachusetts Radiology License is required.
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Certification as an ARRT (CT) and (R) is required.
- Must have a personal vehicle for transportation.
