Key Responsibilities\n

The successful candidate will undertake a variety of responsibilities aimed at delivering high-quality mental health services. These include:

  • Conducting thorough, comprehensive assessments to formulate individualized treatment plans that address clients' specific needs.

  • Providing therapy using a variety of therapeutic techniques—such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness practices—to adapt to the preferences and challenges of each client.

  • Collaborating closely with clients to set realistic mental health goals, tracking their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Maintaining detailed and secure electronic records of client interactions and progress, adhering strictly to ethical standards and HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, ranging from individuals grappling with anxiety and depression to couples seeking to improve their relationships. Your ability to understand and connect with clients from various backgrounds will be essential to fostering trust and facilitating their journey towards mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

  • An active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in the state of Vermont.
  • \n

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients. Excellent active listening skills are critical.

  • Capacity for both independent work and collaboration, contributing positively to a remote team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with a background in trauma-informed care, family systems therapy, or experience with the LGBTQ+ community will be highly regarded. Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques is also preferred, enhancing your ability to engage effectively in a digital context.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive compensation package reflective of your experience, with annual salary ranging between $90,000 and $110,000. In addition, you'll benefit from:
