Touching Hearts at Home is seeking reliable and committed Live-In caregivers in Southwest Boston. This is a great opportunity for caregivers who enjoy building strong, long-term relationships with clients while providing essential, around-the-clock care.

What is Live-In Care?
During Live-In cases, you will stay at the clients home for 3-4 day stretches, during 24-hour consecutive shifts. Clients receive the same benefits of having 24/7 care, but at a lower cost to them, while caregivers get to work consistent, long hour shifts. During a Live-in shift, you must be available for work for 16 hours during each 24-hour shift, with 8 hours of rest. During your rest period, you will have your own private sleeping area and access to a bathroom with a shower. Meals will either be provided by the family or you will receive a daily food stipend.

Job Requirements:

  • Residence in Massachusetts or connecting state.Valid Drivers License & Insured Vehicle (your name must be on policy)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a HHA or CNA OR 1 year of experience performing similar tasks for a private client or loved one.
  • Live-In Caregiving experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work consecutive 3-day OR 4-day shifts
  • Willingness to transport clients in your vehicle.
  • The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
  • Daily access to the internet, email, and a smart phone.
  • Excellent communication skills with advanced English language skills (speaking, reading & writing).
