Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a General Ultrasound Sonographer with 3+ years experience and recent hands-on OB ultrasound skills for a day shift, no-call position in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.

  • Diagnostic Imaging department providing outpatient, inpatient, and emergency imaging services to patients of all ages
  • \n

  • Day shift schedule with no call requirements
  • \n

  • 13-week assignment starting on a Wednesday
  • \n

  • Guaranteed 32 hours per week, with 36 hours guaranteed during orientation week due to midweek start
  • \n

  • Critical access hospital setting with 25 beds
  • \n

Requirements\n

    \n
  • Minimum 3 years of experience required
  • \n

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
  • \n

  • Current ARDMS and RVT certification required
  • \n

  • BLS certification required
  • \n

  • Active state license required if applicable
  • \n

  • Recent, hands-on OB ultrasound experience required
  • \n

  • Must be able to independently perform 2nd and 3rd trimester OB imaging, including fetal anatomy, growth, and biophysical profile examinations
  • \n

  • Ability to independently perform general ultrasound examinations
  • \n

Additional Information\n

  • Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations while working closely with the physician team to deliver patient care
  • \n

  • Join a collaborative Diagnostic Imaging team
  • \n

  • Located in a rural area approximately two hours from the nearest major airport with no public transportation or ride-share options available
  • \n

  • A dependable personal vehicle is required for the duration of the assignment
  • \n

  • Housing is not provided, though a list of local housing resources can be made available
  • \n

  • Credentials must be submitted five business days before the start date to ensure smooth onboarding
  • \n
