The Associate Scientist in In-Process Analytics is expected to execute scientific studies in support of technical programs as they progress from early development into Phase I/II and Phase III.

The appointee will work in the In-process Analytics (IPA) team, within the Drug Substance - Technical R&D unit

Executing routine characterization assays of Drug Substance including analytical HPLC and plate based assays
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Scientific degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related field

Previous Industry or laboratory experience

Hands on Experience with analytical HPLC or plate based assays

Fluent Spoken/Written English

Capable of managing time efficiently to meet short-term targets.

Exhibits a collaborative and adaptable approach to working under pressure and time constraints.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with industry standard high throughput screening and automation technologies

Understanding of polysaccharide chemistry

Understanding of protein biochemistry

Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and communicate effectively
