Who we are partnering with
Mural is hiring on behalf of a global specialty chemical and polymer manufacturer operating plants across Michigan, Massachusetts, and Ohio. They produce polymer colorants and specialty additive materials used by leading automotive, packaging, appliance, and consumer product brands. This opening is for the Holden, Massachusetts site (Worcester County area).
In this role, you will
- Set up and run blending and extrusion equipment following safety and operating procedures
- Stage and verify the correct raw materials; weigh ingredients precisely to match recipes
- Track process conditions, solve basic production issues, and escalate when needed
- Assess finished material quality and collect lab samples as required
- Enter system transactions and maintain accurate production logs and documentation
- Clean equipment and sustain housekeeping standards during your shift
- Adhere to ISO, EHS, and all safety policies; wear PPE consistently
You’ll be successful here if you have
- 1+ year of experience in blending, mixing, extrusion, or plastics/chemical manufacturing
- Proven ability to set up/operate production machinery with basic troubleshooting
- Comfort using computers to document work (Microsoft Office — intermediate)
- Physical ability to lift 55 lbs routinely and work in a chemical/dusty environment
- Availability for 2nd shift and reliable transportation to Holden, MA (7 miles NW of Worcester)
- High school diploma or GED
Compensation and shifts
Competitive hourly rate. 2nd and 3rd shift. Based in Holden, Massachusetts — Worcester County area.
