**Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist Assistant!** **Job Description:** - **Make a Difference:** Work under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist, providing essential physical therapy services that improve patients' lives. - **Hands-On Treatment:** Deliver treatment to patients as prescribed, following the carefully developed plan of care. - **Empower Patients:** Help patients alleviate pain, restore function, and achieve maximum performance through various physical means including: - Exercise - Massage - Heat, water, light, and electricity - **Engage in Therapy:** Direct and assist patients with: - Active and passive exercises - Muscle re-education - Gait and functional training - Activities of daily living, including transfer activities and prosthetic training - **Utilize Equipment:** Operate advanced therapy equipment such as: - Ultra-violet and infrared lamps - Low voltage generation - Diathermy and ultrasonic machines - **Monitor Progress:** Observe, document, and report patient reactions and changes in condition back to the RPT. - **Teach Self-Care:** Instruct patients and caregivers on self-care techniques and appropriate activities. - **Coordinate Resources:** Arrange with health agencies for the use of available equipment for patients. - **Documentation:** Complete accurate clinical notes and necessary documentation promptly, adhering to agency standards. **Education and Licensure Required:** - Associate’s Degree in PTA. - Licensed in NH & VT. - Valid Driver’s License and agency-level auto insurance. **Shift Information:** - Day shift availability. **Minimum Years of Experience:** - Less than 1 year of experience. **Certifications / Requirements:** - BLS/BCLS certification. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
