Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
- Knowledge of best practices in early childhood and elementary speech therapy
- Compassion, adaptability, and strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among students in grades K–12
- Develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) and targeted therapy goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reports
- Adapt therapy approaches for varying caseloads, including students with significant needs
