Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

  • Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address mood disorders.

  • Regularly monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on clients coping with various mood disorders including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, particularly those who may also be dealing with associated life challenges, such as homelessness, refugee status, or experiences of domestic violence. Your therapeutic interventions will play a crucial role in fostering resilience and aiding in the recovery journey for these individuals.

Qualifications\n

  • A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
