Make a meaningful impact as an Inclusion Teacher supporting students in either 4th or 7th grade within a welcoming school community near Framingham, MA. This full-time (37.5 hours/week), contract position offers the chance to empower learners by providing individualized, specialized instruction within inclusive education settings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Massachusetts DESE Licensure in Moderate or Severe Special Needs (required)
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
- Familiarity with state and federal compliance requirements for special education
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), behavior plans, and student learning goals
- Participate in eligibility, annual review, and re-evaluation Team meetings
- Deliver targeted instruction using accommodations and modifications to meet diverse student needs
- Teach effectively in inclusive, small-group, and one-on-one environments
- Assess student abilities, administer standardized testing, and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
- Track student progress using data analysis, work samples, and continual assessments
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Consult with colleagues regarding differentiated instruction, learning styles, and effective strategies
- Supervise and work collaboratively with paraprofessionals and ABA Technicians
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
