Make a meaningful impact supporting students across a diverse range of educational settings as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This unique contract opportunity spans from September 2026 through June 2027, with a full-time schedule Monday through Friday (35–37.5 hours per week). In this role, you'll serve as a traveling educator, delivering essential special education services to students in various school environments, including public, private, and charter schools within the area.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification, or eligibility to obtain one in New Hampshire
- Proven experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning, behavioral, and physical needs
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Adaptable and resourceful approach to support students across multiple locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support tailored to students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
- Travel between multiple schools to deliver services, assessments, and consultations as assigned
- Collaborate with general education staff, related services providers, and administration to ensure positive student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely updates for student records and compliance
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and IEP reviews/evaluations
