Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary school students by providing specialized speech-language services in a supportive educational setting. This full-time opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) runs from now through mid-June 2027, with hours from 8:00am to 2:40pm, averaging 32.5-35 hours each week.
Step into a dynamic elementary school environment focused on collaboration and student growth. You’ll manage a manageable caseload of 40-45 students, working alongside another experienced building SLP. Responsibilities include providing direct therapy (both 1:1 and groups), conducting evaluations, preparing reports, participating in meetings, and engaging with parents and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Experience or strong interest in providing services within a school environment
- Effective communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations
- Prepare thorough documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
- Support students’ communication goals in a variety of settings throughout the school day
