11:00 pm - 7:30 am – 3rd shift
12 months with possibility of extension
As a Production Set-up Mechanic – 3rd shift, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety or routine manufacturing functions in one or more of the following areas:
- Setting up, calibrating and repairing high volume filling and packaging machinery.
- Assisting in resolving routine manufacturing equipment related problems affecting daily operations.
- Recording maintenance activities in Cal PM software application.
- Communicating line performance at daily huddles.
Required education, skills and experience to have success in this role:
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of mechanical, pneumatic fluidic and basic electronic control systems
- Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities
- Ability to follow and adhere to written work instructions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be comfortable working autonomously or in small groups
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience include:
- Basic knowledge of machine shop equipment
- Experience with computers, including office applications
- 1-3 years’ experience setting up, maintaining and repairing high volume filling and packaging machinery.
