BOSS ProStaffing is partnering up with one of the top heat treat companies in the market to fill multiple roles on multiple shifts. We are looking to hire people into these roles that have solid work histories, no job hopping, with strong communication and a desire to find a career. These roles will have available overtime and a strong starting pay rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Furnace Operation: Set, regulate, and monitor furnace temperature controls, atmospheres, and heating cycles according to blueprints, setup sheets, and work orders. [1, 2]
- Loading and Quenching: Position and load parts onto racks or into batch/continuous furnaces, then safely remove and perform quenching processes using oil, water, brine, or air cooling. [1, 3]
- Quality Inspection: Inspect parts visually and use measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and hardness testers to verify that treated components meet quality standards. [1]
- Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Respond to alarms, troubleshoot basic mechanical or process issues, and conduct routine preventive maintenance on furnaces and thermal instruments. [1, 3]
- Documentation & Safety: Record processing parameters, production data, and cycle times accurately while strictly adhering to OSHA guidelines and wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
