Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing school psychologist services across a vibrant district near Peterborough, NH. This position offers the chance to work district-wide, primarily supporting elementary students with a focus on K-12 populations. As a valued partner in student success, you’ll take the lead in creating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), performing direct student assessments, and ensuring all school-based psychological services are delivered with care and professionalism.
Key Qualifications:
- Eligibility for or possession of a New Hampshire School Psychologist endorsement (0046) or Associate School Psychologist and New Hampshire Psychologist License
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or closely related field preferred
- Experience in developing IEPs and educational plans, particularly at the elementary level
- Strong knowledge of direct student assessment and evaluation in a school setting
- Flexibility to work across grades K-12 as needed
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and direct assessments for students as required
- Develop and implement effective IEPs/Plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to optimize educational outcomes
- Provide district-wide psychological support, primarily at the elementary level, but with services spanning all grades
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
This full-time contract position includes a schedule of 35 hours per week and covers the academic year, from late August to mid-June. Your expertise, compassion, and dedication will play a vital role in nurturing student growth and enhancing the educational environment.
