Job Description

Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist supporting students across K-12 grades in a dynamic district-wide role. This full-time contract position spans four school buildings and covers the academic year, running from late August through mid-June. As a valued team member, you'll help children and adolescents achieve their educational and developmental goals in an inclusive and collaborative environment.

Essential Qualifications:
• Valid Vermont Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure required
• Experience in school settings or working with K-12 learners preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
• Organizational skills and adaptability to varying caseloads and schedules

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver occupational therapy services for students ranging from kindergarten through high school
• Evaluate and assess students' needs, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and document progress
• Provide direct, consultative, and group OT sessions within classrooms and therapy spaces
• Facilitate skill development in areas such as fine motor coordination, sensory processing, and adaptive life tasks
• Support multidisciplinary teams in promoting student participation and success
• Contribute expertise district-wide within four buildings, adapting services for different developmental stages
• Maintain detailed and timely records aligned with district and state requirements
