Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A remote Special Education Teacher licensed to provide telehealth services is needed to support students requiring specialized educational assistance. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction and individualized support in an online setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct telehealth sessions tailored to the needs of students with disabilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of sessions and student outcomes
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams through virtual platforms
Qualifications:
- Valid state teaching license in Special Education
- Experience providing telehealth instruction or remote special education services
- Strong skills in virtual communication tools and technology
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to design individualized instructional plans that meet diverse learning needs
