Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Massachusetts licensure (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations highly desired
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, goal setting, and data-driven therapy plans
- Strong rapport-building, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, write comprehensive evaluation reports, and participate in eligibility and annual IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support whole-child learning
- Maintain accurate therapy documentation and progress records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Provide input for classroom strategies and consult on accommodations or modifications as needed
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school-wide initiatives
