Role Description The Painter Helper role at A&D Color LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Burlington, VT. The Painter Helper supports lead painters by preparing work areas, including covering surfaces, taping, sanding, and cleaning. Responsibilities include mixing and handing materials, moving ladders and equipment, assisting with basic brush and roller work under supervision, and maintaining an organized and safe job site. The role also involves cleaning tools, removing debris after projects are completed, and following company safety protocols and instructions from supervisors. The Painter Helper collaborates with the painting team, responds to daily project needs, and is expected to be punctual and ready to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.

- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of tools and materials used in painting, or willingness to learn on the job.
- Strong attention to detail, including careful preparation of surfaces and adherence to safety procedures.
- Reliable time management, dependability, and the ability to follow directions from supervisors and lead painters.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, with a professional and respectful attitude toward colleagues and clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in painting, construction, or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Burlington, VT preferred.
