We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Maintenance Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment.
This role focuses on minimizing downtime through effective troubleshooting and continuous improvement of preventive maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair CNC machines and related equipment
- Develop, implement, and improve preventive maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using real-time data and diagnostic tools
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and ladder logic diagrams
- Perform repairs including:
- Ball screws, bearings, and linear guides
- Backlash adjustments and machine leveling
- Spindle removal and turret alignments
- Servo drives, parameters/keep relays, and battery replacement
- Operate CNC machines to verify repairs and performance
- Maintain detailed repair reports and service documentation
- Work independently with minimal supervision to resolve issues efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of CNC maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: is up to $50.00 per hour (based on experience)
