Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification for schools
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments
- Organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students with speech or language difficulties
- Develop individualized goals and deliver therapy aligned with students’ needs
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support effective learning strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on student communication needs
- Maintain accurate therapy documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Contribute to staff training and share resources to enhance communication support across the school
