Key Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Perform surgical identification, setup, sterile technique, and aseptic practice across a multi-specialty OR environment including orthopedic, ENT, general surgery, uro/gyn, and ophthalmic procedures
- Execute accurate surgical counts, specimen handling, surgical site preparation, and draping in accordance with facility protocols
- Manage medication handling on the sterile field and troubleshoot sterile field contamination as needed
- Operate and assist with specialty equipment including power drills, saws, laparoscopic towers, insufflators, microscopes, coblators, and cautery devices
- Maintain fast room turnover standards while working independently with minimal orientation
- Float to Endoscopy as needed and provide late coverage/call on a bi-weekly basis

Required Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of OR scrub experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic surgery including total joints, ENT, general surgery, and uro/gyn procedures
- Proficiency with EMR systems; experience with Meditech a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal orientation in a fast-paced surgical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills\n

- Familiarity with intraoperative neuromonitoring
- Experience with vendor coordination in the OR setting
- Prior experience with ophthalmic surgery procedures
