Make a meaningful difference in middle school students’ lives as a paraprofessional in a welcoming and supportive educational environment near Duxbury, Massachusetts. This contract opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 35 hours per week through June 22, 2027.
As a paraprofessional, you will collaborate closely with teachers and staff, providing essential assistance to help students achieve academic and social success. If you’re passionate about education and have the required Para credential, this could be a rewarding next step in your career.
Qualifications:
- Valid Para credential or certification (required)
- Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
- Ability to effectively support middle school-aged students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Dependability, flexibility, and a proactive approach
- Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing classroom lessons and daily routines
- Provide one-on-one or small group support for students as directed
- Help manage classroom behavior, maintaining a positive learning environment
- Adapt instructions or activities to meet varied student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress, if needed
- Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all learners
