Job DescriptionJob Opportunity: Mental Health Therapist

Our organization is in search of a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to become a part of our Healthcare & Medical Services team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional outpatient behavioral health care to individuals and families throughout Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical services, including thorough assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric issues.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalized treatment plans that highlight each patient’s strengths, challenges, and aspirations.
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other community resources as necessary.
  • Conduct individual, family, and, when suitable, group therapy utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based techniques.
  • Perform risk assessments, manage crises, and ensure patients receive timely and appropriate clinical interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), including diagnostic formulations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and professional ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and culturally sensitive care for all patients.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and reliability.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in providing mental health services in a clinical setting.

Working Conditions

This position offers a balanced hybrid work environment, combining on-site and telehealth services based on patient needs and clinic guidelines. You will manage a reasonable caseload and engage in regular supervision or peer consultation, as well as participate in team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
