Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations and ongoing assessments, ensuring accurate documentation for each client.
- Develop personalized treatment and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing a variety of mental health challenges.
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth, utilizing therapeutic techniques that encourage active participation and foster positive outcomes.
- Monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment plans, providing timely adjustments as necessary to enhance effectiveness and support ongoing recovery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, primary care doctors, and social workers—to create holistic intervention strategies for clients.
- Regularly follow up with healthcare partners regarding clients who may require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care and effective transitions back to outpatient treatment.
- Identify potential barriers to recovery, proactively addressing behaviors or situations that may impede clients' progress.
- Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding mental health challenges and provide strategies to assist their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n
Our client base encompasses a diverse range of individuals facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. As a counselor, you will be instrumental in creating tailored approaches that resonate with clients from different backgrounds and experiences, thereby enhancing their engagement and commitment to recovery.
Qualifications\n

- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.
- Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
- Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, with a solid understanding of counseling theories and techniques.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, with preference given to familiarity with systems such as AVATAR.
- Solid knowledge of physical health conditions and their impact on emotional well-being, along with experience in addressing addiction disorders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients and families alike.
- An empathetic demeanor coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills to foster healing relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n
The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also offer an initial sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.
