Job Title – Medical Assistant (Clinical)
Unit – Ambulatory Clinic
Duration of Assignment – 13 Weeks
Location – Brighton, MA 02135
Shift – Days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Guarantee Hours – 40 Hours per Week
Salary Range – up to $25hr
Job Duties:
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and EMR documentation.
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen collection, and in-office testing.
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, vaccinations, and medication administration.
- Schedule appointments, process referrals/prior authorizations, and support patient follow-up.
- Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and provide administrative support as needed.
Requirements:
- Local candidates only.
- High School Diploma/GED and completion of a Medical Assistant program (or equivalent clinical experience).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
- Phlebotomy experience required.
- EMR proficiency and strong communication/organizational skills.
